Joy of giving week ,2011 ( Courtesy: Google Images) India is getting ready to celebrate 'Joy of giving week of 2011' . This philanthropy festival started in India in the year 2009 and within two years, it become 'important week' for all the NGOs and CSR divisions. The name of the festival was suggested by an Ad agency Euro RSCG India , which handled Media and PR related work for the festival. Overall 500 plus events are carried out in more than 70 cities in India during this week. The week of Mahatma Gandhiji's birthday i.e 2nd October has been chosen for 'India Giving Week', as it can gain National importance. Not-for-profit organizations,Corporate CSR divisions, Government Schools, and Non-government organizations carries out different fundraising activities during this week.Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and God of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar both supported this idea and also helped raise more than Rs.20 Crore for NGOs wo
Review of the Financial year 2022-23 On the 19th February 2023, I decided to visit Jivdani Mata temple in Virar to take blessings of Maa Jivdani. I took my nephew Yash with me as I had no plans to climb the steps for the temple. We used Funicular train route to go up and come down from the Mountain. Ashwamedh Foundation NGO was founded on 1st August 2012 by me to work in Child Education and Development Sector. We completed 10 long years on 1st August 2022. Also 19th February 2023 marked 5 years completion of Ratneya Group (formerly known as Doddamani Group) which I started on 19th Feb 2018 with first brand Stocksbaazigar - The ultimate wealth creator. I wanted to thank Maa Jivdani for giving me strength to continue my Ventures irrespective of facing all the ups and downs. He started giving me some reasons which were obviously not his 'own'. He was just 14 yrs old kid and was blaming Mahatma Gandhi for partition of India. He even called Gandhiji 'Taklya' once or twice during his argument. I was quite angry on him but didn't scold him, as I was eager to know why he hates Gandhi? According to him Gandhiji is 'root-cause' of 'terrorism' in India. He gave reference of those '55 crore rupees' which India gave to Pakistan during partition. I was not at all amazed by his (childish) knowledge as I understood within few minutes that he was explaining me something, which his father had explained him earlier.
